The poster just dropped for the docunentary I directed by the Hall of Famer who may be the greatest baseball player of all-time. If I haven’t been posting as much as I once did, you can blame the post-production process on this project. Tonight is the premiere at the Urban World Festival and there will be a screening November 6th at the Castro Theater in San Francisco before it starts streaming on November 8th. Covid delayed production almost a year, but with the help of Willie, his son Michael and home run king Barry Bonds we were able to craft the compelling life story of an American sports great. Marcus Miller composed the jazzy score and Chuck D contributed an original song about Willie. Can’t wait for all of you to see it.
