Most of my non-fiction, novels, audio books, and films available as gifts this holiday season. I started by career as a music critic/historian, moved into writing novels and screenplays, before getting into directing cable movies and documentaries. Plus I have acted as a producer on a score of projects. There a few things missing, but its a pretty comprehensive listing of my work.

Next summer a documentary I directed about the baseball great Wilie Mays will air on HBO. I executive produced an FX doc series, Dear Mama, on Afeni and Tupac Shakur directed by Allen Hughes that will premiere in the spring. Keeping my hand in fiction I will have a hip hop noir short story in the crime anthology The Perfect Crime being published by Harper-Collins. Plus I have a couple of surprise projects coming towards the end of 2022.
