If you’re in the Los Angeles area this Saturday afternoon, I’m doing a talk about my career covering hip hop and how it changed by life, along with signing copies of The Nelson George Mixtape volume 1 and 2, and my earlier book Hip Hop America. In fact that 1998 book provides the title for the Grammy Museum’s celebration of #hiphop50 that starts this weekend and will run through next fall. The link above will help you obtain tickets.
